The Nightingale Jazz Trio
The Nightingale Jazz Trio is Perth’s leading contemporary jazz ensemble and the definition of unique. With their perfect blend of subtle jazz and modern groove, the trio is fronted by the sultry vocals of award-winning singer and pianist, Tiaryn Griggs.
Supported sensitively by bassist Djuna Lee and drummer Daniel Barwick, the trio performs in the popular styles of Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Michael Buble and Madeleine Peyroux. The group has also been featured on Channel Ten and in The West Australian.
The trio has a broad experience in not only providing delicate yet captivating background music for restaurants, weddings and corporate functions but also standing out on stage – having peformed at the Ellington Jazz Club, Perth Concert Hall, Perth Royal Show and the Perth Jazz Society to name but a few.

The Nightingale Jazz Trio’s success lies in their unique sound, combining well-known popular jazz tunes with a fresh, modern interpretation.
