Ambrosia String Quartet

Whether it be a request for a favourite piece of music, or attending wedding rehearsals to ensure everything runs smoothly, the Ambrosia String Quartet will work with the Bride and Groom personally in order to create the perfect memorable day.

Their repertoire covers all of the traditional favourites such as Canon in D (Pachelbel), and Arrival of the Queen of Sheba (Handel) for that special piece of processional music as well as a collection of pleasant background music for times such as before and after the ceremony, and the signing of the register. The quartet also performs other genres including jazz and contemporary, meaning that they are able to match repertoire with the occasion creating the perfect atmosphere.

Having worked with some of WA's leading contemporary artists including Ali Towers, Timothy Nelson and The Autumn Isles, The Ambrosia String Quartet is fast becoming the go-to ensemble for the ever-growing number of artists wanting strings in modern pop.

Testimonials

Ambrosia String Quartet played at our wedding in May - they were wonderful! They played as people gathered for the ceremony which set the scene and mood beautifully and then the entrance music for the groom (me) and the bride – we both chose our entrance pieces which made it more personal.

Afterwards, ASQ played at the reception – the perfect accompaniment for the celebration – lots of people commented how much they enjoyed their playing and how ASQ added a real touch of class to the whole wedding.

"...The members of the ensemble were professional and gracious and played beautifully, creating just the right kind of ambiance we needed to turn the event from being good to great. We will certainly use Ambrosia Ensembles for any similar events we will hold in the future and would recommend them whole-heartedly."
